From ARBENTIA we want to share with you all the news of the launch of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central , the SaaS version of the current Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018. Allysa Taylor, General Manager, Business Apps & Strategy at Microsoft, announced that it will be available from April 2 in 14 countries : United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy , France, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden and Finland.
As we mentioned a few months ago, the launch of architect database Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 was accompanied by important news: the name change of the solution . NAV 2018 would therefore be the last version with the name “NAV”, giving way to a new name that would be announced together with the SaaS version in spring 2018 and that until its launch would bear the nickname of Microsoft Dynamics 365 “Tenerife”.
Spring is approaching and Microsoft, fulfilling its roadmap , has just announced the release date of the new SaaS version of the ERP and its final name: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central , which will bring all the functionality of the current Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 to the cloud in a software as a service model. For the moment, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 continues to be the official name of the on-premise version of the ERP, although it is expected that by the end of the year the naming of the solution will be unified, leaving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the sole name of the ERP, both for the SaaS and on-premise versions.
