Venture capital funds as catalysts for innovation

Venture capital (VC) is a form of financing for the growth of private companies. It consists of subscribing to a share issue. Investors usually allocate their funds to promising, market-first projects that are in the early stages of their operation.

Year over year, capital flow through venture capital funds is increasing and has a CAGR of 38% over the last three years.
In 2021, venture capital funds supported almost 400 Polish startups for an amount of nearly PLN 3.6 billion.
The main operators in the Polish market are: PFR Ventures or Inovo Venture Partners
The FENG programme - European Funds for the New Economy - will be launched at the end of 2022 , which will enable the recapitalisation of nearly 500 start-ups.
