Yesterday morning, we had the opportunity to participate in the Technological Seminar organized by UCAVE , in which topics such as Loyalty Tools, Success Stories, Communities and Social Networks , among others, were discussed.
Verónica Aimar presented the topic of Social Networks to Boost the Tourism Business , which generated good feedback , and also some concern about the time that must be dedicated to managing the online world , the associated benefits and the overwhelming amount of information that exists on the Internet that intimidates, causes a bit of fear and, above all, creates false expectations or unfounded fears about its advantages or disadvantages.

One of the situations we have been able to observe is that the Travel Agency sector has detected a major problem with its activity: they feel like mere intermediaries who sell products that they cannot compete with in terms of price or features, with "the big ones", the most recognized agencies. Selling the same thing, the war between agencies is not long in coming.
However, selling tourism today is not about products, but about creating experiences, emotions , years of experience that support knowledge, personalized attention and the fact that I can count on my agent in case any problem occurs at the destination or with the service. And this differential value is key to adapting to current market demand.
