Today, bots are an integral part of the internet.

Bot History
The history of bots dates back to the early days of the internet. The first bots were simple and had limited functions, but over the years they evolved, becoming more advanced and diverse.

The first known Internet bot was a program called ELIZA, created in the mid-1960s by Joseph Weizenbaum at MIT. ELIZA was an early example of a chatbot that could simulate conversation through scripted responses. Many of ELIZA's users found its responses surprisingly convincing, despite the fact that it had no real understanding or consciousness.

In the following decades, with the development of the Internet, bots became increasingly common. Bots were used to automate many different online tasks, from indexing websites (like search hungary whatsapp lead engine bots), to automated messaging (spam bots) or interacting with users on forums and social media.

One of the most important steps in the development of bots was the introduction of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology. AI made it possible to create bots that not only respond based on predefined scripts, but can learn and adapt based on the data they encounter. This paved the way for the creation of bots that can conduct more advanced and natural conversations, understand natural language, and even recognize images and sounds.

From simple scripts to advanced AI systems, bots have revolutionized the way we use the internet. Over the years, this evolution has brought many benefits, but it has also created new challenges. With our growing dependence on bots, it is important that we continue to consider what their influence is, how to control them, and how they can shape the future of the internet.
