How to build a consumer base in FMCG?

Contrary to appearances, building a customer base for FMCG brands may not be easy at all. This is mainly due to the fact that customers usually do not interact directly with FMCG companies, but through their products. In fact, many brands in the FMCG market belong to the same company, and customers are not always aware of this. So, if you run an FMCG company, what can you do to build a customer base? Here’s a typical scenario – a customer walks into their favorite supermarket and grabs their favorite candy bar off the shelf. Of course, that candy bar is just a brand.
