39 steps you need to take to successfully launch your product

Post by mostakimvip06 »

I believe you are already eagerly awaiting it, especially given the very demanding period we are in. I will also take a few days off, as rest is an important part of the job.

Overwork and stress inhibit creativity, so I look forward to the days off that I will spend with my daughter somewhere by the sea. By the sea, I "recharge my batteries" and feed my soul. When I return home, it will be time again for planning and creating new products. I always use the summer, when there is a bit of a lull, for creative ideas and setting new goals.

So today I have prepared 39 steps you need to take to successfully launch a product. You can use these steps as a guide when you launch your new product or service. You don't necessarily want to do all of them, and you may want to add some of your own.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

1. Consider whether your customers will get what they expect.

2. Consider what bonuses you can add for the purchase. Especially for those customers who decide to buy immediately. How can you "pamper" them further?

3. Also consider offering a free bonus – for example, a short e-manual with useful tips. This manual can be intended for all those who will not immediately decide to buy.

4. In addition to the text on the website, be sure to record a short introductory video of the new product or service, explaining all the benefits. I recommend it!

5. Have you really made sure that the product or service is presented in a way that will impress?

6. Don't forget to include the "urgency" element - why someone would need this product/service immediately.

7. Announce the time and date of the new product or service launch in advance. If the launch is online, some people will be waiting on the website for an hour before the event starts, pressing the refresh button every few minutes.

8. Read all sales materials several times and ask someone else to review them.

9. Check that all web links in the shopping cart and payment system are working. Check this on another computer with a different browser.

NEXT STEPS

10. If it is an online product, is it set up correctly in the shopping cart or PayPal system?

11. Every time you change any variable (price, order components, text, etc.), retest whether all web links are working properly.

12. Have you registered all domains related to your product?

13. Are all files uploaded and in the right place?

14. Carefully review the order page and check for any errors.

15. Read all important messages (launch message, order page, sales page) out loud. You may notice another error or poorly formed sentence.

16. Check all the graphics!

MONEY IS IMPORTANT

17. Set a clear goal for yourself on how much you want to earn. What would be perfect success for you?

18. Where will the funds flow?

19. Can you add another payment option for anyone having trouble placing an order?

20. If you sell a high-priced product or service, consider whether you can offer special benefits. We usually offer a small discount for customers who pay in full. This is an incentive for customers who prefer to pay all at once. Can you offer payment in installments?

THE DAY BEFORE THE PRODUCT/SERVICE LAUNCH

21. In addition to all other online tasks, make sure you answer all other emails the day before. Make the day of your product/service launch just for this.

22. Prepare a good sales pitch for the new product, for all your existing customers.

23. Prepare a blog post and social media posts.

24. Be prepared at least an hour before the start of the presentation or launch of a new product/service.

D-DAY

25. Plan your presentation time to suit your audience, not you.

26. Make sure everything is working at least ten minutes before. It's better to find problems yourself than for others to find them!

27. Thank your first five customers and check to see if everything advertising agencies mailing list worked as expected when they purchased the product. Bonus: These customers are probably your biggest fans anyway, so they’ll appreciate it if you reach out to them personally.

28. If possible, send each customer a short personal message in addition to the automatic thank you email. If this is not possible every time, do it as often as possible.

PROMOTION (CAN BE CARRIED OUT ON THE DAY OF SALE START) OR BEFORE)

29. Most importantly: ask for sharing your offer/service. Many readers, potential customers, and acquaintances will help by telling their friends and acquaintances, but you have to ask them. Offer some kind of attractive reward.

30. If you already have existing customers, inform them about your new offer.

31. If necessary, also write to journalists or the media.

32. Also post the offer on Instagram , Facebook , LinkedIn and other social networks.

MONITORING (DO THIS IN ADVANCE)

33. Write a general thank you message that all customers will receive upon purchase.

34. If necessary, write the first message for a series of follow-up emails that customers will receive.

35. Outline additional content for future communications and plan accordingly.

EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

36. How can you exceed your customers' expectations with this product? Can you include anything unexpected in your offering?

37. Is there anything special you can do to thank your customers?

PENULTIMATE STEP

38. Don't forget to celebrate. A new product launch is a special day that you've been preparing for for a long time. Go to your favorite restaurant, have a glass of wine, buy yourself something you've been wanting for a long time. Reward yourself. You deserve it.

LAST STEP

39. Start thinking about your next presentation. What can you build on from this presentation? Think about what you learned? What can you do better next time?
