In an SEO strategy, it is important to analyze the links of a website to know which pages are linking to us, with what anchor text they do so, from where they do so and how they do so.

If you have analyzed your link profile and don't know what to do with the spam that links to you , we will tell you all the steps to follow before you start disavowing them with Google's Disavow tool.

Steps to analyze your links

With a profile of toxic and continuous links, we can have great drops in web positioning, which is why it is of great importance to analyze them. To do this, follow these steps:

1st- Use tools to analyze your link profile

There are numerous tools that can help us analyze our link profile. Each one has its own indicators that can help us assess the quality of our links, but they are not official Google metrics and we should not obsess over them.

Some of these metrics are Ahrefs' DR (measures the power of a website's link profile on a scale of 0 to 100), Majestic 's Trust Flow (measures the quality of links on a scale of 0 to 100), Majestic's Citation Flow (measures the number of links on a scale of 0 to 100), Moz's spam score (measures a site's SPAM score), SEMrush's Backlink Audit (analyzes the risk of our link profile) or the free Google Search Console tool (links section).

We recommend analyzing the results of these tools manually, and not following them strictly.
