When you upload a new disavow file in the Google disavow tool, you replace all previously uploaded files.
A user should always ensure that the new file contains all previously disavowed links and not just the new ones.
After uploading your disavow file, you have to wait up to 6 weeks before Google takes it into account.
If you have already submitted a deauthorization file for your domain, you can upload it to the tool directly under the "deauthorize" tab.

Skip this step if you have never submitted a deauthorization file or run an import for verification before.
Step 2: Add links to your disavow list

Step 3: Export your disavow file
Once you are satisfied that your disavow list is complete and you have added all the toxic backlinks you want to take action on, you need to export your disavow file.
For this there is a button in the top right corner that says "Export to TXT".

This will export your ready-made disavow file for upload to Google's disavow tool, broken down by URL and domain.
Step 4: Upload it to Google
Head directly to the Google disavow tool and make sure you are signed in to Google Search Console.

Upload your .txt file, click submit and you're done.
